Aoife and I have been invited to the Celtic Festival and Highland Games to be held this year in Davenport, Iowa. I'll be playing, singing and storytelling, while giant guys in plaid skirts throw heavy things about.Don't ask - it's Scottish. ( ;-}>But since it's a pan-Celtic festival I'll be playing some Irish, Cymraeg and Manx tunes as well as Scottish, of course.Come on out! Listen to the tunes and stories, and save me a beer for after my sets.  Mine's a Guinness, please.

Celtic Harper and Storyteller Darren Raleigh returns to Living History Farms with Celtic myths, folktales, songs, poetry and the music of the Irish Harp. Refreshments with an Irish flair are included. There will also be a cash bar selling wine and Irish beer.

I'll be playing harp, singing, reciting poetry and telling stories around the Faire. My CD will be for sale and don't forget the gods smile on those who buy the harper a beer!
